PRE TAN SKIN PREPARATION

Athletes, to make sure that your muscle is defined, skin tone is even, and highlighted properly under the stage lights, it is important that you follow pre-tan instructions.                        

 

Please shower, gently exfoliate with a sugar or salt scrub, wash with a non moisturizing soap, and completely dry your skin at least 4 hours before application of BIONIC Mousse.

No need to apply a coat of mousse the day before, save your sheets, you may apply the day of show!

Make sure you do not apply lotion, oil, or deodorant to skin after showering.

​

BIONIC Tans suggest at least one “regular light” tanning bed session, and at least 2 tanning bed sessions for fair skinned athletes, prior to skim prep and mousse to assist with pulling water and complimenting your stage tan. You may apply up to 3 coats of mousse to darken your stage tan to your preference.

Please, do not wear any jewelry, lotions, makeup, perfumes or deodorant when applying BIONIC Tan Mousse.​​

you may put on your stage bikini or trunks after your final BIONIC Tan Mousse application.

BIONIC Mousse is absorbed by the skin quickly and only takes minutes to dry. 

​

Guys please do not apply Bionic Tan Mousse to your genitals.

​

You may use BIONIC Tan Mousse to your face; however, if you have a medicated facial regimen 

We advise that you inform your tanner of any area on your body that has a medicated facial/skin regimen we suggest you do not apply BIONIC Tan Mousse to these areas to avoid skin irritation.

 

If you choose to tan your face  only a thin layer of tan.

 

If you intend to sleep in your tan, lease place dark sheets AND pillowcases on your bed to catch any transference of your tan. All tan solution should be able to come out of your clothing and bedding with soap and cold water.

 

Please get your manicures, pedicures, shave and do all hair removal prior to being tanned. After being tanned, you will NOT be able to do any of the things above including work out.

 

DO NOT shower your tan off prior to competition. Wear flip flops. Purchase Benadryl and take as directed if you develop skin irritation.

 

BIONIC Tans Mousse kit supplies enough mousse for touch ups, if needed.  Suit to skin adhesive, and body sheen/ glaze is also included in the kit as well. BIONIC Tan Mousse, glaze, and suit to skin adhesive can also be purchase separately.
